sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya born in 15 - Sept -1860 to srinivasa sastry and venkachamma in muddenahalli which is 40 miles to Bangalore.He served as the chief engineer during construction of Krishna Raja sagara on the Kaveri River near Mysore. He completed his schooling in Bangalore, he earned his B.A in Madras University, and later he studied civil engineering at the college of science,pune............
he was knighted as the Knight commander of the order of Indian Empire
he worked as a chief engineer in MYSORE. he was a president of the 1923 session of indian science congress.
